My brother is really hypocritical and over protective! how do i get him to stop?

he is such a ';player'; with girls, but with the few boyfriends (who have all been really nice guys!) i have had he treats them really meanly and is just way over protective and stuff





how do i get him to stop being so overprotective and hypocritical? i've told him before to leave me alone but he's just like ';i'm your older brother it's my job'; which is really annoying because i can take care of myself!





anyone else been in a situation like this before? what did you do?

Being older than you, he feels he is clearly more mature and knowledgeable than you are. Also, being a GUY, he knows deep down what guys want, and as such he will probably never fully trust any guy that comes near you! This is common behavior from an older brother! Sorry, not much you can do but hope he gets so busy with his own life, that he doesn't notice what you are doing much!My brother is really hypocritical and over protective! how do i get him to stop?
He obviously doesn't want to see you get hurt, and maybe he's not a serious kind of guy and thinks all guys are that way.Maybe it's his perspective on women.


Just tell him, you appreciate his concern, but you can take care of yourself and if you need his help, you will ask for it.


Ask him, how he would like it if, you kept scarring his girlfriends off, period.
