I've heard its hard to be some girls boyfriend when your a friend. But the problem with me is i cant not make friends, i talk to people, crack a few jokes make them laugh and BAM next weekend we are hanging out. So i'm trying to go out with this girl, and i've been getting more and more confortable talking to her, but how do i not be her friend so i can be her boyfriend?How do i talk to her without being her friend?

Romance is romance and friendship is friendship. Having both is nice but you can never confuse romance for friendship or friendship for romance.





Although it sounds crude it is a fundemental fact of life the main reason men and women pair off into couples is for sex. Yes, yes, women are are going to call me a pig, but the bottom line is it is true, for both men and women, it is not the only reason but it is the main reason. It is the ultimate difference between being a girl's boyfriend and just a friend who happens to be a boy.





Please do not confuse what I am saying that if you are girl's boyfriend you are going to have sex with her or even that you should be pressuring her for sex. I am just saying that all romantic relationships are about increasing intimacy to the level of sex. Perhaps that takes years to get there but that is the direction all romance is headed.





I say all of that to say, when a girl says ';I just want to be friends.'; she is really saying I am not attracted to you sexually, they will say there is no chemistry, no spark, whatever you want to call it all means the same thing, I don't want to go with you on the path that leads to sex.





So to answer your question, you need to go increase the level of attraction between the two of you. Yes I know easier said than done, but that is what it is. You need to flirt more or flirt better with her. It should be a fun game. Never tell her you like her but she should always be wondering.
